Hi everyone! Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you are enjoying a fabulous day with your friends and family. It’s always a special day, showing Mom how much you appreciate her and love her.

Today’s prompt is, of course, centred around Mom:

This week create a layout about a special memory you have of your Mom, but here’s the twist. I want you to remember back to your first Mother’s Day with mom and see if you can’t describe that day on your layout. The sights, the sounds, the love, the food, the gifts, whatever comes to mind when you think about the first Mother’s Day you can remember with your Mom.

Sunday Scrapping Prompt

Hi all! Hope you are enjoying your weekend, and having a great time scrapping with Shawna’s latest scoops in her store. I’ve got some Sunday scrapping prompts for you in case you need a little boot to the mojo:

Use three different alphas for a fun layout
Capture the memory on the layout as if you are the person your are scrapping
Try using elements to frame your photo on the page, instead of stitching or a photo matte
Scrap a page where the photo takes up most of the space (try blending it into a paper for example)
Scrap about plans you have for your garden or backyard this year
